VideoMach – Software to Turn Images into Videos and the Other Way Around
Review by on
I remember a time when I wanted to do something sweet for my significant other, mainly to turn a bunch of pictures into a video clip and put some music in the background. I ended up using some obscure application that did quite a poor job of turning my vision into something I could boast about. That was back in the day when I was clueless about the existence of VideoMach. What this software application does, among other things, is allow you to turn images into video; or turn images into animations. And if you want to play some music along with the video or animation, this is always an option.

It works the other way around also. With VideoMach you can convert some of the most popular media formats back and forth. To put things in perspective, VideoMach provides support for these file formats: JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, BAYER, CINE, AVI, MPEG, WMV, OGV, FLC, GIF and so on. If you have a video file, thanks to VideoMach you can decompose it into images and audio.

Say you spent a lot of time creating a cool video, or you already have a video and would like to publish it to the web for others to see. With VideoMach you can encode that video to OGV format and easily publish it online.

VideoMach also provides video editing functionality. If you feel that a video is moving along at a too slower pace, you can speed it up. Or if things are happening way to fast for your comfort, you can slow it down. You can also remove borders, rotate and resize a video file. From a visual point of view, you can adjust colors, sharpen them and remove noise. What I like the most is that you can also add some pretty interesting video effects. Lat but not least, if you want everyone to know that you are the one who created that video, you can overlay text or a logo on top of it.

There are three VideoMach versions available for you to try: Free, Standard and Professional. If you want to use the free version, you’ll have to cope with the fact that a banner will be displayed for just one second on top of your videos.

Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Support a wide range of media formats
  • Video editing functionality

Cons
  • The free version overlays a textual banner on the output video. It is displayed for just one second though, so its not that bad.
System Requirements
DirectX 7 or higher
